Day 1 – 10 Apr 2025: Ho Chi Minh Arrival (D) TG 550 BKK – SGN @07:45 – 09:05
Upon arrival, visit to downtown, Saigon teems with energy, activity and motion. Everywhere you look, you see the convergence of traditional and modern life. Begin with a tour of the historic center. After breakfast, a one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi Underground Tunnel where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Free for leisure. Accommodation at hotel in Saigon.

Day 3 – 12 Apr 2025: Mekong Delta Excursion (B/-/D)
After breakfast, drive to My Tho. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Then take a boat trip on Mekong River that covers areas of My Tho fish-farm and 4 islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix. Explore Dua Religion relics and manufacture of handicraft made from coconut trees. Continue to Thoi Son island. On arrival, visit traditional rice paper and coconut candy factory, walking along the rural village for visiting local house, where you can enjoy taste of seasonal fresh fruits, visit honey bee farm with many kinds of jams while enjoy Southern traditional music show “Don Ca Tai Tu” - the lovely and romantic melody of one of local artists in Mekong Delta. Rowing on sampans along the canals of Mekong River covered with shady water coconut trees. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Accommodation at hotel in Saigon.

Day 5 – 14 Apr 2025: Tra Que Herb Village – Hoian Ancient Town (B/L/D)
This morning, you have an experience day of living and working with the local people in the Tra Que herb village. Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is named after the sweet-scented vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of the Pho Hoi people. Take a short stroll around the vegetable garden and listen to the history of the village. Then join gardening activities in preparing the land, fertilizing with seaweed, raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables… Enjoy foot soak before getting to prepare lunch at a local restaurant inside the village. Join cooking class with ‘Tam Huu’ spring roll, ‘Banh xeo’ - a local pancake of people in Viet Nam middle region ... After your morning excursions and lunch, you learn how to harvest and wrap the vegetables. In the afternoon, you will visit Hoi An ancient town, which is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. Enjoy a walking tour of this enchanting town visiting an old merchant house, a Chinese Assembly Hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge. After breakfast, we will go to airport for the flight to Hanoi. On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred downtown. Visit Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex and Ba Dinh Square. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which contains the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh (closed Mondays, Fridays and from 15 June to 15 August); and Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 until his final days in 1969. Preserved in the same condition as during his life, it may be viewed through the windows. Continue to the miniature 11th century One Pillar Pagoda which was rebuilt after being destroyed by the French in 1954. Visit train street (may view from outside), next stop is Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Free for shopping at the Hanoi Old Quarter. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.

Following breakfast, private car and tour guide picks you up from your hotel and travel to the spectacular World Heritage site of Halong Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin (approximately four hours). Arrive at your jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. After your welcome onboard, a lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board. Overnight aboard on Halong Bay.
