Borivali is a suburb located in the North Western area of Mumbai and in close proximity exists a sanctuary, which is regarded as 'Lungs of Mumbai'. Deep in that sanctuary, are located a group of caves and rock-cut monuments. The caves contain Buddhist sculptures, carvings. paintings and inscriptions which date back from 1st Century CE to the 10th Century CE. Visiting these ancient caves along with our expert will take you to an altogether different era, which now is a busy mega city.
How to reach: Borivali is reachable by Western railway local trains and also by road. A short distance travel by auto rickshaw will take you to the entrance of the National Park.
